Mehwish Hayat is a Pakistani actress, model, and singer who has worked in several Pakistani television dramas and films. She was born on January 6, 1983, in Karachi, Pakistan. Mehwish Hayat started her career as a model, appearing in commercials for several major brands.


Mehwish Hayat made her acting debut with the Pakistani drama serial "Man Jali" in 2010. She gained recognition for her performance in the drama "Mere Qatil Mere Dildar" and later went on to appear in several hit dramas including "Phir Chand Pe Dastak," "Dil Lagi," and "Kabhi Kabhi." In addition to her work in television, Mehwish Hayat has also acted in several Pakistani films including "Na Maloom Afraad," "Actor in Law," and "Load Wedding."


Apart from acting, Mehwish Hayat is also a trained classical dancer and has performed at various cultural events. She has also lent her voice to several Pakistani film soundtracks and has released her own singles including "Tu Hi Tu" and "Mujhse Pehli Si Mohabbat."


Mehwish Hayat has received several awards for her work in the Pakistani entertainment industry, including the Lux Style Award for Best Actress and the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, one of the highest civilian awards in Pakistan, for her contributions to the performing arts. She is also known for her social activism and has spoken out on issues such as women's rights, education, and healthcare.
